A visit to Yala National park is an absolute must here one will be able to spot everything from leopards, elephants, sloth bears, water buffalos, crocodiles and roughly 215 species of bird in addition to a kaleidoscope of fauna. Another visit that would be post card worthy is a visit to the Pinnawela elephant orphanage which is home to orphaned, injured and abandoned elephants.
Another facet to Sri Lanka is its tea lined rolling hills, where it is a must to experience a tea tasting session, a round of golf and a traditional high tea.
